We’re a young startup, and it’s been a whirlwind adventure so far! Four of us have relocated to New York City with another two team members joining us in the coming month. We have been fortunate enough to be a part of Techstars NY, one of the top startup accelerators in the world. There’s seven weeks left until demo day, aka D-Day, aka the day that will represent our last three months of work, culminated and compressed into a single on-stage pitch. But, we’ve been enjoying what has been nothing short of the greatest roller-coaster ride of our lives.
Surrounded by Techstars’ advisors, mentors, hackstars and associates not to mention guest speakers (like Seth Godin and Gary Vaynerchuk!) and 12 other fantastic startups, it’s hard not to be motivated. For example, we became good friends with our office neighbors, Lynxsy, who help recent non-technical grads launch careers with high growth startups. We’re inspired to see their growth, and how companies like Lynxsy brilliantly solve the challenges that inevitably pop up.
We have a lot of work ahead of us….like, a LOT of work ahead of us. Although daunting, we think about what Tutum could be for not only us, but for our users and the Docker community as a whole, which gives us a nice jolt of adrenaline to keep coding well into the night; maybe in time to watch the new episode of Game of Thrones before it’s ruined by spoilers. Luckily, we’re all friends and Techstars isn’t short of entertainment. A fold-up table tennis comes out after 6pm. Here’s Borja and Bernardo playing a match.
We hope to have Tutum production ready for you soon with some killer features that makes life much simpler. Is there any feature you think is a must-have? Interested in what we’re learning at Techstars? We would love to hear back from you! Just hit comment and we’ll get back to you right away.
